Politique de confidentialité — Kids & Go

2. Quelles données traitons-nous ?

Votre compte (adultes uniquement)

  • Identité : prénom et nom.
  • Adresse e-mail.

Sécurité, prévention des abus, modération des messages signalésIntérêt légitime (art. 6.1.f)

2. Welke gegevens verwerken we?

Je account (enkel volwassenen)

  • Identiteit: voornaam en naam.
  • E-mailadres.

Profielfoto, meldingen, agendalink, inloggen via Apple of GoogleJe toestemming: facultatief en op elk moment intrekbaar (art. 6.1.a)
Veiligheid, misbruikpreventie, moderatie van gemelde berichtenGerechtvaardigd belang (art. 6.1.f)

4. Wie ziet wat?

Kids & Go is afgeschermd per organisator en per groep.

6. Hoelang bewaren we je gegevens?

GegevenDuur

Privacy Policy

Kids & Go helps parents organise their children's trips to their activities together (club, youth movement, school, birthday…). We collect only what is needed to organise those trips. There is no advertising and no resale of data, and no data is sent to any artificial-intelligence service.

1. Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is Pierre Goffin, whose address is Avenue Louise 251, 1050 Brussels.

For any question about your data: hello@kidsandgo.app.

2. What data do we process?

Your account (adults only)

  • Identity: first name and surname.
  • Email address. It is used to log you in, via a single-use code (there is no password).
  • Phone number (optional).
  • Profile photo (optional). It may only show an adult.
  • Relationship to the children (dad, mum, step-parent, grandmother, nanny, guardian…). Other members see it as « Emil's dad ».
  • Household and cars: the adults of the household and, for each car, a free-text name (e.g. « Mum's Touran »), the number of seats and the number of boosters.
  • Apple or Google identifier, if you choose that login method.

The children (entered by a responsible adult)

  • First name, surname and date of birth. The date is used to avoid duplicates and to suggest a booster. It is not shown to other members.
  • Need for a booster seat (yes/no).
  • Groups and activities the child takes part in.
  • Attendance or absence at events, when a responsible adult indicates it.
  • Seat in a car for a trip, any pick-up point, and pick-up and drop-off times when the driver checks them in.
  • Proof of parental consent: which adult gave it, and when.

👉 We collect no photo of a child, no health data and no geolocation. Locations are entered by hand.

Organising the trips

The organisations (called « organisers » in the app), their groups and their members. The events: date, times, places and programme. The outward and return trips, the cars offered, the drivers, the adults on board (a named adult member, or a free-text mention such as « partner »), the messages exchanged about an event, the summaries and the notifications.

Technical data

  • Notification token of your device, if you enable notifications.
  • Login sessions: a random token per device.
  • Login codes. Only a fingerprint (hash) is stored, never the code itself.
  • Personal calendar link: a secret address, if you enable it.
  • Date of acceptance of these terms and the version accepted.
  • Server logs (IP address, date, page requested), for security, kept for a limited time.

We use no audience-measurement tool, no advertising tracker and no advertising cookie.

3. Why, and on what legal basis?

PurposeLegal basis (GDPR)
Organise the trips in the groups you are a member of (cars, seats, summaries, reminders, messages)Performance of the contract, i.e. the terms of use (art. 6.1.b)
Process a child's dataConsent of the holder of parental authority, given when the child is added (art. 6.1.a and art. 8)
Profile photo, notifications, calendar link, login via Apple or GoogleYour consent: optional and revocable at any time (art. 6.1.a)
Security, abuse prevention, moderation of reported messagesLegitimate interest (art. 6.1.f)
Keep proof of acceptances and consentsObligation to demonstrate compliance (art. 7.1)

4. Who sees what?

Kids & Go is partitioned by organiser and by group. A person who is not a member sees nothing.

  • Members of the same group: they see the first name and surname of the adults and children who take part, the relationship (« Léa's mum »), the adults' photo, the events, and who is driving whom.
  • Phone: it is never shown in the lists or in the summaries. It appears only between the people of the same trip: the driver sees the number of the parents of the children they carry and of the adults on board, and those people see the driver's number.
  • Email: visible only to the organiser's coordinators, to manage the members.
  • A child's date of birth: visible only to the adults of their household.
  • Shared summary: a coordinator can send it to the group's members. It contains the children's first names, each one's car, and the children still without a seat.
  • Calendar link: anyone who has this address can read your upcoming trips. Keep it like a password. You can regenerate it in your profile: the old address then stops working immediately.

5. Who processes the data for us?

  • OVH (OVH SAS, France) hosts the service on a server located in the European Union.
  • Apple delivers the notifications to iPhones (Apple Push Notification service) and provides « Sign in with Apple ». The text of a notification (for example « Emil is looking for a seat for Saturday's match ») passes through Apple. As this service is provided by Apple, that data may be processed outside the European Union, within the safeguards put in place by Apple.
  • Google provides login via Google, if you choose it (coming soon).
  • The emails (login codes) are sent from our own server.

We do not sell, rent or transfer any data.

6. How long do we keep your data?

DataDuration
History: events, trips, cars offered, seats, attendance, messages, notifications2 years after the date of the event, then automatic deletion. This rule applies in all cases, even after an account is deleted (see below).
AccountAs long as you use it. An account unused for 2 years is deleted. An email warns you a month beforehand: just open the app to keep it.
ChildUntil a responsible adult removes them, or until the household is deleted.
Login codesValid for 10 minutes, erased by the next day at the latest.
Login sessions90 days maximum.
Proof of acceptance and consentAs long as the account or child concerned exists.

When you delete your account, we immediately erase your identity (first name, surname, email, phone, photo), your Apple or Google identifiers, your calendar link, your sessions, your devices, your messages, your links to the children and your adult-on-board seats. A household with no adult left is deleted along with its children and cars. Past trips you took part in remain visible to the other families without any mention of your identity, then disappear at the end of the 2 years.

7. The children

Only an adult can create an account. A child's data may only be entered by an adult who declares they are the holder of parental authority, or acting with their agreement. This declaration is timestamped (see the parental-consent notice). A child never has an account, receives nothing and does not log in.

8. Your rights

You can request access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of processing, to object to processing, or request the portability of your data (art. 15 to 22 of the GDPR). You can also withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect what was done beforehand.

  • In the app: edit your profile, remove a child, disable notifications, regenerate the calendar link, delete your account (Profile).
  • By email: hello@kidsandgo.app. We reply within one month.

You can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (DPA, Belgium): www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

9. Security

Exchanges are encrypted (HTTPS). Login is done without a password, and codes are stored only as a fingerprint. Session tokens are random. Access is partitioned by organiser, by group and by role. Data is hosted in the European Union. In the event of a data breach presenting a risk, we notify the DPA within 72 hours and, if necessary, the people concerned.

10. Changes

If this policy changes significantly, the app shows you the new version when you open it. You must accept it to keep using Kids & Go.
